So I've let time slip away...and it's been almost a month since my last post! yikes! Here are the pics from Christmas...yes almost a month ago...and the one of Aaron cracks me up. Can I just say that I loved me some walkie-talkies when I was little...so I was very excited when Santa left them in the girls' stockings. Do you think APD would let him use a hot pink barbie radio for awhile? HA! We had an early start to our morning since Aaron had to be at work at 6. We woke the girls up around 5 so he wouldn't miss the joy of Santa. He had the video tape rolling when RJ sat up and bed and said, "Ummm...after my nap!" So maybe she didn't really understand Santa...but that sure changed when she saw all the goodies. Of course, when I was telling Santa everything the girls "needed"...I neglected to devise a plan as to where the barbie house and princess nursery center was going to go AFTER Christmas. Needless to say...the decor around the 'ole homestead seems to have a pink theme. Oh well...you can definitely tell happiness lives here...and that's more important than style at this point. But someday...I just know there will be a playroom in our future...and I will be one happy momma. But until then...I'll enjoy watching them play...afterall...I have no choice! HA!

that is WONDERFUL perspective, my friend! "happiness lives here". we don't have a playroom either, and it's always depressed me. i try to look on the bright side, but it's hard for OCD, type-A me. :0) but i will remember that and make it my mantra. :0)
