25 Random Things

I always get reat ideas from other people's blogs...I'm a self-professed blog stalker...so here's to Heather! Here are 25 RANDOM things about me...just in case you care:)

1. My pants are getting too tight.

2. I love toys. I was never able to throw them away or give them away when I was little...and I still have most of them somewhere!

3. I write poems.

4. I was raised in a Methodist church...but I loved going to my grandmother's Baptist church (what little that I did)...because they sang a lot more...and I loved hearing her sing.

5. There is a little part of me that wishes I would have majored in music. There is a HUGE part of me that wishes I would have toughed out my nursing degree. I got scared in microbiology and changed my major...what was I thinking?

6. (From the mouth of a teacher and a parent...) I can't stand parents who make excuses for their children. I hope I never do that. If you catch me, please ask me to stop.

7. I have 2 beautiful daughters and one on the way...but I have been pregnant 2 other times. I wonder if the angels that were supposed to be my babies are in heaven with my grandparents and I wonder if they'll recognize me when I get there. I hope so:)

8. I have always felt strangely close to my granddaddy...even though he passed away when I was one. I talked to the sky when I was little...hoping he could hear me.

9. Let's see...I've sat through immigration interviews and have had to prove the legitimacy of my marriage.

10. I have then sat through the resulting citizenship ceremony and count it as one of the most proud days of my life.

11. I have loved my husband since the first day (night) I met him. Really. I was so confused that night because I thought my best friend was trying to set me up with someone else and I couldn't figure out why not Aaron? I just had the names mixed up...it obviously got sorted out!

12. I've walked home from a club...in Nac...with my best friend...would NEVER do that here!

13. My sister and I have had some really good fights. I have treated her in the past ways that make me terribly ashamed. I'm glad she has never held a grudge and we are best friends. I can't imagine acting that way now.

14. My brother had me convinced at one time that I could be a track star...HA!

15. My creative passion is photography. I wish I could afford...and had the time...to take all the classes I wanted to.

16. I hate doing my hair. It is one of my least favorite things to do...which is why it is always pulled back.

17. I love my minivan!!

18. I got a punch on my card in 5th grade and had to miss movie Friday...did you know we can't watch movies like that in school now?

19. I am completely organized at school...I just got my desk in order today...I love that!

20. I am not organized at home...sometimes I can't see my island...and it's pretty!

21. I can spank one daughter and it works...the other one laughs at me. But she hates time-out!

22. I love junkfood and cokes.

23. I loved Mimi's pancakes, Mama's roast, and I love everything my mom makes...but especially her hamburger steak. On that note...I CANNOT cook...and I don't like to!

24. I admire the loyalty in dogs...they are my favorite animal.

25. I LOVE being a cop's wife!
