We took our first official vacation...other than Great Wolf Lodge...with the kiddos over Spring Break...and we had SO much fun! We left early Monday morning...so the kiddos slept for the first half of the trip...perfect! And they did amazing occupying themselves for the last two hours:) We stopped off first at the Natural Bridge Wildlife Safari...and the kiddos thought the ostrich putting his head in the car to look around was hilarious. We tried to eat on the Riverwalk that night...but it was WWWAAAYYY crowded...so we opted for one of the inside restaurants. Sea World was day 2...the line to get in was crazy...but well worth it...the kids loved it! And Cole did fantastic as well:) Day 3 we headed home...and stopped off to ride the glass bottom boats in San Marcus. My parents took us to do this when we were little...and it was fun to now let our kids experience it. It was kind of sad though...the underwater-mermaid-swimming show was no longer there...but the entrance to the submarine was still there...so I had to take a picture of it. It is one of my most favorite things we did when I was little. The mermaids danced to "For Your Eyes Only" and how could you not love a swimming pig??? Oh well...my memories shall sustain me...now it (top pic) looks like something off of "Lost" dontcha think?
