A Reflection

I know one true God...and He is everything to me. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere present, unchanging. He is Jireh, Rapha, Nissi, Rohi, Shalom, Tsidkenu, Sabboath, Elohim, El Shaddai, El Elyon, Adonai, Yahweh. He is my provider, healer, banner, protector, shephard, peace, righteousness, commander, planner. His is the Word. He is my creator.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God...
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shephard, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of rightousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

I love our church. It has made a huge difference in my life and the life of my children. I find peace there. I really feel like God brought me to the Oaks to get to know Him better...and I'm trying...and I could not be happier about it.
