These are a few of my fav-or-ite things...are you singing it with me?
1) The diaper caddy: I am not a changing table person...they scare me because I am such a clutz...so this little baby is perfect to bring with me to Cole's room during the day...and my room at night...it holds all of my diapering essentials!

2) The "meshy" bathing seat. I also never liked the big, bulky baby tubs. I love this one! It fits right in the tub...holds Cole perfectly...is soft for him...does not hold water...and the cover comes off easily to wash!

2) You can now clip the formula scoop right in the lid! I hated the cans with the girls because you had to drop the scoop right in the powder...I love the scoop compartment in the lid!

3) The bassinet...I did not have one of these with the girls. They slept in their pack-n-play beside our bed til they moved to their room. I bought this one from one of my friends at school...and Cole loves it! It keeps him all snuggly and fits perfectly in our room...I'll be sad when he outgrows it.

4) Cetaphil: I use it to bathe the girls and it has really helped RJ's arms.
5) Aveeno Baby Soap: I never used this with the girls...I do with Cole...It smells SO good!

6) The travel swing. I had the giant swing get-up with the girls...This one is much more convenient. I can move it wherever I want to in the house...and it calms Cole almost instantly. It also does not take up near as much room as the big one.

OK...you may resume singing...

Hey - question about the cetophil. You said it helped RJ's arms? Did she have excema (sp)? Because Amelia has it on her arms and calves - and nothing seems to help. Just wondering if I should try this??? Thoughts?
Hey! Riley has little...and sometimes very irritated bumps on the top half of her arms...my sister suggested I bathe her every other day...which I have not done...and to use Cetaphil...which I have done...and it has helped! Don't know if that is excema...but I would try the soap...Doc told me that even baby soaps had lots of irritants and suggested not even using soap unless they really needed it...but I can't do that either...so Cetaphil it is!
we dismantled our cradle a week ago today. :0( and i totally cried! it'll be packed up and back in the attic forever...or at least until we have grandbabies who might sleep in it!
my two cents on eczema...my middle child had it, and we found it was the baby lotion (we used aveno) causing it. so we quit putting lotion on her altogether and it's never returned save for during swim lessons. she started to get it again toward the end of her two-week class.
we were told to try cetaphil many times, so it must be good! we just didn't need to since the lotion worked for us. we still use j&j head to toe soap.
not that anyone even asked me! :0)
