Can I just say I love The Oaks! The girls have been attending VBS this week...The Boomerang Express... and I have been working in RJ's room...with 18-19 3 year olds a night...yikes! It has really been a lot of fun. KA was FIRED UP last night because she got to go on stage to sing and dance. We got the CD with all the Boomerang Express songs on it, and it is all she wants to listen to in the car...and I watch her practice all the dance moves from my nifty-minivan-rear-view-mirror. It is really very cute. It has also been interesting to watch RJ in a school setting. She is not very clingy to me...which is good. She will go to the other teachers for stuff and potties and whatnot all by herself. What has been interesting is watching her learn how to socialize and make friends. The girls are completely different than I would have pegged them to be at school. KA is a little social butterfly...not scared to talk to the other kiddos and play with whoever is available. RJ is just the opposite. She seems to have my shy side a bit. It has been so interesting watching her learn how to "play"...does that make sense? At home...she is the complete opposite...she definitely rules the roost as far as play goes around here. Above are a few pics...they are wearing their VBS t-shirts tonight and will be performing their songs on Sunday...you know I'll be posting those later!
