Dark in the Park

We took the girls to "Dark in the Park" this evening...our first official fall activity. It was really a neat event put on by the city. There were real spiders to look at, bounce houses, crafts (check out Daddy making a bracelet...priceless!), food, balloons, pumpkins...and of course face painting! Which I was very proud of KA for getting her cheek painted...of course only after RJ did hers first. But she loved it! And of course only the healthiest of meals for these kiddos...you know...popcorn, hotdogs, cheetos. Who could ask for anything more! I gotta tell you...we have done a couple of things through the city...and now that Aaron is a police officer and I am doing things through PWAA...you start to see places a lot different...and I am proud to live here. Not that it's perfect...but like I said...it's a pretty neat place. Oh! They even had hayrides to and from your car...we had Ironman the first time and Captain Jack Sparrow the next...it was pretty funny. KA said, "Mommy, that pirate is full of funny jokes!" We had a really good time:)
