Firsts

Here's another first...once again more of a milestone for me than KA. She went to her fist day of preschool!! Doesn't she look like such a little lady?!! She was very excited and handled the day like a champ. Of course...I wish I could say the same for myself. This was also the first time I have left her in the care of someone other than my mom! Of course, Eunice kept her when she was a newborn, but she lived right behind school and was up at school all the time...so I always felt like she was there with me. We have been blessed to have my mom keep the girls for almost 3 years now...and I admit it...I'm spoiled! It was a very oogy feeling knowing that someone else was in charge of her for a little while. Thank goodness she had a great day and I know she is in good hands. Funny that you always think that it's the little ones that achieve all the milestones...when really, the parents do, too. And I had to include the pic of RJ in case there were any questions of why she is not going to school with KA...does she look like she's ready? We'll give her a little more time!
