(Just to explain the picture...the girls are just taking a moment to dance during our photoshoot the other day...one of the things they love to do...anywhere...anytime...no really...ANYWHERE...ANYTIME...I do have to admit...it's one of my favorite things they do:)
Well...I have to say...I thought I'd be more than ready to go back to work this year after having spent the summer trying to entertain 2 toddlers...it has proven to be more difficult than I thought! Not all that excited about it to tell you the truth...HOWEVER...I have been making an effort to turn negatives into positives...you know...we have SO MUCH to be thankful for...I feel bad when I complain about anything...so here's my positive spin on being a "working" mom...which is a term I'm not fond of either...because A LOT of people work very hard...whether they have kids or not...or whether they leave their house to do it or not...ANYWHO...back to the positive turn-around...here goes...Since I'm a mom who has to leave to go to work...when I'm with my girls in the car, I hardly ever have the radio on. I get an immeasurable amount of joy listening to the conversations and questions from a 2 and 3 year old...for example...from Miss KA...driving home in the rain...
(KA) "Well...I guess they asked God to make it rain."
(Me) "Who asked God to make it rain?"
(KA) "The flowers!"
(Me) "The flowers asked God to make it rain? Why?"
(KA) "Because, that's how they grow big and beautiful. The flowers ask God to make it rain and then he makes it rain and then the flowers are beautiful."
...and my favorite line...
(KA) "Yep...that sure is nice of Him!"
