Watch out! I've locked and loaded...next time you see me I may be packin' heat!! I took my concealed handgun license class today and shot a gun for the first time. Not bad target hits for a first timer, huh! I scored a 221 out of 250...not too shabby! I figured that if we were now going to have guns in the house and they are going to be a major part of my husband's career...then maybe I had an obligation to learn about them as well. Have to admit...I was...and still am...scared of guns...but now am not so nervous around them. And...I really had a good time shooting...it was fun! It may be my new hobby...which I'm sure Aaron will be thrilled about...scrapbooking, photography, and now shooting. Well...at least we can have fun with this one together. And will I teach the girls? You better believe it! I found it to be a very empowering feeling and a huge responsibility. Have I mentioned lately how completely impressed I am with my husband? I love you:) The more I learn about his new profession, the more completely awesome he becomes to me...I love him more everyday...OH! and only one shell casing hit me in the head...those things fly around like crazy...and they're hot! I didn't realize guns really smoke...they do! Too cool...looks like a 9mm will be added to my Christmas list...definitely an amazing and insightful day...too much fun.
